Fight The Devil Differently (The Sword of The Spirit)

"For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart." - (Hebrews 4:12)

It feels weird writing like a normal human being again. I have gotten so use to writing case notes as a Social Worker & Mental Health Practitioner that I have lost touch of my normal ways. First, let just say that I have missed you guys so much. Words can not express how much my Spirit feels right about now. I feel like I have been neglecting this platform, a platform God gave me to use to inspire and help many souls. I hope you all find it somewhere in your caring and loving hearts to forgive me. On the bright side I have the Holy Spirit within me to give me the strength to blog about today's topic. I pray that my words today will not only inspire many souls, but help people who are being tackled by the devil while walking into a new chapter and purpose in their lives.

A lot of times as children of God we find ourselves hiding behind God especially during times when we feel attacked and not Prepared for our battle. When I say we hide I mean anytime we feel a slight attack from the Devil we are so quick to feel defeated. Not realizing that we have God beside us during those moments. Remember that God has aligned weapons that we can use. When you feel like the attack is overbearing and feelings of weakness starts creeping up on you instead of allowing misery into your space just Fight through it and use The Word of God. The word of God is there to not only encourage you, but also remind you of the Strength you have through Christ. This new chapter and season is different than any other journey you have been through. God no longer wants you running behind him because he created you as a Warrior. We have to learn how to face our fears and fight the devil differently than what we are use to. I encourage you all to Stand Tall beside God while fighting the good fight.

"For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline." (2 Timothy 1:7)

Ephesian 6:11 says,"Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil."

God wants us to know that we will all go through challenging times, but through those times quitting should be on our list of options! When you go through moments where you feel like Satan is throwing rocks at you. Do not run, do not hide!
Instead, S P E A K UP & U S E THE WORD OF GOD! Being able to use God’s Word against Satan is one of the most important marks of spiritual maturity.

The Bible says, “You have been believers so long now that you ought to be teaching others. Instead, you need someone to teach you again the basic things about God’s word. You are like babies who need milk and cannot eat solid food” (Hebrews 5:12). It’s not hearing, reading, or even learning the Word of God that makes a believer mature. According to Hebrews 5:12, a mature believer is the person who puts the Word into practice.

Practice using "The Sword of the Spirit." <-- your weapon! It's no secret that the bible is one of the greatest ways to invade Satan's space. Get him shaking in his ugly boots. Satan is not afraid of how tough you think you are or what you say to him through your own understanding. What he is afraid of is the Word of God! Satan has no power over you. You have more power over him than you think. It's about time you start seeing yourself in the Image of God.

Blessings Up
