How To Practice Humility

"Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience..." (Colossians 3:12)

1. Practicing Humility (clothe yourselves with humility).

2. Practice by performing a few lowly, mundane tasks.

3. Practice by doing acts of kindness.

4. Practice by admitting your limitations.

5. Practice by actively putting others before yourself.

6. Practice by publicly applauding someone else's achievement.

7. In (marriage) practice by taking an active interest in what your spouse is interested in.

Hope you all enjoyed my notes on 'How To Practice Humility.' Today's sermon in church touched my heart and made me want to look deeper into the word 'Humility.' The Bible describes humility as meekness, lowliness and absence of self. In other words Humility is a heart attitude and not an outward demeanor. Humility isn't thinking lowly of yourself, but rather accurately. (Romans 12:3)

Thank you all for reading & watching.
